Columbia Design Group was instrumental in the development of a $90 million project that has been recognized by The Massachusetts Smart Growth Alliance (MSGA).

As development consultants and the civil engineers on the project team for the Batch Yard, a seven-story apartment complex in Everett, MA, Columbia Design Group provided all civil design services for the redevelopment of the former Charleston Chew candy factory. Services included due diligence, permitting, utility and drainage design, parking layout and coordination of soil remediation efforts.

Working closely with developer Post Road Residential, CDG helped turn an abandoned and blighted property into a 328-unit luxury multi-family residence.
